Partnering with Islam Channel, we aimed to enhance their web presence to align with a rebranding effort and reduce bounce rates. Through stakeholder interviews with the CEO, Principal Designer, and marketing team, we identified the need for a central hub for media content, including social media clips, editorial pieces, and TV programmes.
We integrated a dynamic prayer feed on the homepage and a dedicated prayer page for easy access to prayer times, alongside on-page animations to enhance navigation and reduce bounce rates. We added a searchable library of editorial content and a dynamic feed for live content to improve the user experience.
We prioritised accessibility, ensuring text readability and alt text descriptions, and improved page performance. The redesign led to 657,000 organic views and a 96.1% reduction in bounce rate, significantly enhancing Islam Channel's online presence and user engagement.
